Glacier Guides is an internationally recognized guiding operation in Iceland offering enjoyable and memorable in depth glacier experiences and other adventure tours. It is with great pride that the Glacier Guides team received the AMGA Company Accreditation. Joining some of the worlds most respected guide services this accreditation brings together and acknowledges everything Glacier Guides has aimed to achieve since it´s founding in 2009. To uphold the highest standard in all we do, be it ethical and individual service to our guests, guide training or guide and staff satisfaction.
Our base of operations is located in Skaftafell, an oasis under the giant Vatnajökull Glacier in South Iceland. On our glacier hikes our experienced guides combine their wealth of mountain knowledge and local expertise to guide you through the awe-inspiring outlet glaciers of the Vatnajökull ice cap.
Glacier Guides are committed to providing experiences using the best ecologically sound practices available. Vatnajökull National Park is a perfect example of an area that is extremely fragile and sensitive to human traffic.
