Practical Information

We offer pick-up from Skaftafell and surrounding accommodations. We will provide you with almost everything needed to have a safe adventure, however for each trip there are somethings you need to bring.  Please read the details for the trips you wish to join so that you can be sure you have all you need for a great day out in the Icelandic nature. Please note that the age limit for the Glacier Grand Slam and Glacier Explorer trip is 15, and for Blue Ice & Black Sands and Glacier Wonders it is 8.  If you have have younger children and would like to join us for a trip, please call so that we can make arrangements to accommodate you. Our trips are subject to weather and Glacier Guides reserves the right to change any trip if we feel your safety is compromised.  Safety is the number one priority on our trips. Guests are advised that all activities are undertaken entirely at their own risk and they must behave in a fit and proper manner at all times in accordance with Glacier Guides guidelines and must take proper responsibility for their own safety. Glacier hiking and related activities carry inherent risks and each Guest will be requested by Glacier Guides to acknowledge assumptions of risk prior to all excursions.
