What to Expect on a Multi-Day Tour?

Our Iceland Travel Packages include accommodation and pick up in Reykjavik. Our groups usually have a maximum of 18 guests, ranging from 20-55 years old. We welcome participants ages 8 and up, solo adventurers, families and groups of friends.

We will book you in country hotels or guesthouses, so you stay comfortable on your adventure. These hotels regularly undergo inspections to live up to our high standards.

Breakfast is included at all the hotels. Lunch and dinner are not usually included, but your guide will always stop at a restaurant, shop or cafe so you have time to try local Icelandic fare. If you get peckish, feel free to pack some snacks for the road.

A single supplement is available if you want to have your own room, but you’re not required to pay a single supplement. If you’re a single traveler and don’t wish to book a single room, you’ll be roomed with another traveler of the same gender.

A multi-day trip can be quite the adventure, so we recommend that you dress warmly. Wear layers of outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, sturdy hiking boots, headwear and gloves. Tip! Try to avoid jeans on a multi-day trip--if they get wet, they tend to be a nuisance. We recommend you instead pack lightweight trousers.
