Tour Description

This Golden Circle and glacier tour will start when we pick you up at your selected pick-up spot in Reykjavik. After we’re all set to go, we’ll begin our epic sightseeing Golden Circle tour in Iceland.

Home to Iceland’s most incredible nature, it’s no wonder the Golden Circle route is at the top travel bucket lists. Our tour includes the three best Golden Circle highlights, including Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area, and Gullfoss Waterfall.

Thingvellir National Park is the first stop on the tour. Þingvellir is world-famous for being the only place on Earth where you can walk between the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. The park is also home to Iceland’s first parliament, Althingi, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next up on our Golden Circle tour is Geysir Geothermal Area. Located in the Haukadalur Valley, the area boasts geothermal activity such as hot springs, mud pools, and fumaroles. The valley is also home to the most famous geysir in Iceland, Strokkur. Strokkur shows off its geothermal muscles when it blasts hot water into the air every 5-10 minutes.

Last but not least, Iceland’s Gullfoss Waterfall is the final stop on our Golden Circle adventure. Gullfoss is a stunning waterfall that runs into Gullfossgjúfur Canyon’s volcanic terrain. On a clear day, you may even spot a rainbow.

After Gullfoss, we’ll hop back into our Super Jeep and head towards Langjokull Glacier, Iceland’s second-largest ice cap. We’ll drive on its icy terrain as we make our way to Into the Glacier, a 500-m-long man-made ice tunnel. Our expert-guide will lead us around the tunnel to explore the ice cave’s brilliant shapes and crystal-blue ice. We’ll also learn about the cave’s formation and Langjokull’s geological history.

Once our hour of glacier exploration has come to an end, we’ll drive back to Reykjavik and get dropped off at our selected locations.

Disclaimer: Ice caves are everchanging phenomena and highly dependent on weather conditions. Therefore, we reserve the right to alter or cancel the tour if conditions are unsafe. The actual view of an ice cave may look different from pictures, how they look may vary depending on the season, time of the day, lighting, and other factors.
